(Mexico City) -- President Obama is being pressed about the FDA's decision on morning-after contraceptives.
At a news conference in Mexico City, Obama said the decision was entirely the FDA's call. This week, the FDA said the Plan B One-Step pill will become available without a prescription for girls who are as young as 15. Meantime, the Justice Department is appealing an earlier federal judge's order which would make the morning-after pill available for girls and women of every age without a prescription. The President is on a three-day trek to Mexico and Costa Rica.
